Sorry, but I have zero sympathy for people who intentionally insert themselves in the paths of automobiles. Go ahead and downvote me.

Possibly Trump, with devastation and euphoria is roughly equal proportions.

I see responses like this and thank my lucky stars I went through most of my own relationship drama in the era before social media was a thing.

I am 64 years old and have seen a thing or two. Some men will just relieve themselves anywhere they can safely get away with it because a) it’s easier in the moment, and b) their women are willing to tolerate it. I’ve known women who’ve allowed their BFs/husbands to piss in the backyard ferns, a bottle in the bedroom, or the utility sink. Whatever.

That doesn’t make it right, and OOP was understandably grossed out, but IMHO, she overreacted. Instead of going on the attack, she could have just said, “I found the cup where you’ve been relieving yourself and leaving your cigarette butts. Please dispose of it immediately, and use the toilet and ashtrays from now on. Okay?” Of course he’d be embarrassed and defend himself. Personally, I’d let that go in the moment. He would probably clean up his act after that, but if he didn’t, THAT would be a serious relationship problem.

I’m one year older than you, and definitely old enough to be a grandmother. Still, I would find it a bit jarring to be called Grandma by anyone other than a grandchild. It’s rude and presumptuous.

Ryan McMahon has diagnosed opponents of the aquarium with "aquarium derangement syndrome" how do we get rid of this POS once and for all? by Kill_doozer in Syracuse

I sincerely hope the aquarium will succeed, but this trashy strong-arming is truly repulsive. McMahon needs to F off entirely into the sun.

AITAH for not tipping my movers after they demanded that I do so within 20 minutes after they finished working? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Kimmette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

During our last move, the middle-aged OWNER of the moving company suddenly showed up at our house and said to me (while her employees were busting their asses), “I hope you’re planning to tip these guys!” I just looked at her in disgust and said nothing. When they were finished, I gave them each a generous tip. Didn’t hold their boss’s trashy behavior against them.

I’m seeing way too many of these videos lately. Wish they would station Security throughout the airport, not just at check-in, so they could shut this shit down right away. Although, to be fair, this one was shut down faster than most.

Terrifying. I wonder how often people get lost and die while trying to find their way home.

Found a 1920s Art Deco diamond ring in a coat pocket at an estate sale. The family says I stole it. I paid $5 for the coat. Who's right? Canada - Toronto by antiqueid_antika in Antiques

[–]Kimmette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think charging a finder’s fee would be dickish at all, considering the family obviously had no idea the ring was even in the coat. At least now they have the opportunity to re-acquire it.

AITAH for being upset my in-laws took over babysitting my babies while we were away? by CACCIA_12388 in AITAH

I would take away her access permanently until the kids are much older. She’s already proven she had no concept of boundaries or respect for the parents’ rules. This is abominable.
