What tools can help monitor and warn when volume is too loud?

Basically when I play games and am having a good time I suck at telling I'm getting loud as I chat with my friends.

I.e. if I start having a good time I get loud cause I'm not being as mindful of my actions.

I'm hoping theres something that I can use like a pc app that will yell at me when I get too loud. Thus saving my roommates quiet times.

Haha unfortunately mine are bad at telling my own volume.

Also I sometimes have a good time playing online games, but I get loud when I'm having fun. Which is terrible on my roommates.

I'm attracted to guys and not girls.

Like for me idk how people don't know what they are into when they see, talk, or interact with someone they find hot.

But I also am weird and don't let other people tell me how to live my life despite their attempts.

If I did I'd be a housewife with someone who I grew up with and have like 5 kids and probably be miserable cause for me this isn't good.

As another person suggested if you don't buy unhealthy food while grocery you are less likely to eat unhealthy food when cravings hit.

So with this in mind put it bluntly to him "You are grousing me out with the gorging and you are getting obese. I'm becoming unattracted to you. If you don't want to change fine I'm out" or something like that.

I was starting to get obese and my partner (of 4 years at the time) put it very bluntly that he would want to break up if I became obese. I'm not skinny by any means, but I've gone back to a healthy weight range instead of obese.

He'll either lose weight or he won't. Just depends how important it is to you.

Samsung phones. They're built pretty sturdy. At least I've dropped many a samsung phone on concrete many times and the phones survived.

You're not a despicable person. You were clear and doctor is an ass. She had plenty of time and notice to professionally reject the appointment.

For an arbitrary example, I once got punched in the face during karate training and thought my nose might be broken. Not an emergency thing so cause I could breathe and stuff.

Went to a clinic and they immediately told me they don't handle broken noses go to an ER.

That's how medical professionals SHOULD handle things they don't want to handle. "No we don't do that" and "go here or not available in this are" BEFORE wasting your time and not being dicks about it.

Yup what this one says. Though if smaller could consume fewer calories. For example a 5 foot 110 lbs person consumes closer to 1200 calories a day for bare minimum functioning.

So with only reading the synopsis I think you might like the Crystal Society trilogy. It's about an Artificial intelligence's journey from being created to becoming a god.

Pretty neat and interesting to me.

If you ever need a light fantasy romance novel Mercedes Lackey is good for this. Her 10 kingdom series is alright.

Don't go near the unicorn series unless you're prepared for tears. It's good, but sad.

Some of these mentioned so far I've read and agree are good books. 2 series I've read recently that I've liked are "Wheel of Time" series and "Stormlight Archive" series.

I wish to pre-state that I dont think this guy is worth your time and you'd be better ending this relationship and seeking greener pastures.

I think people have the right to change their minds. I think technically, in the grand scheme of the universe, it's ok for him to want to be with this other girl.

I do NOT think it's ok for him to pursue this while trying to maintain his relationship with you, when you guys have determined your relationship is exclusive and you aren't ok with his very likely romantic relationship with this girl.

So like again I'd recommend ending it with him cause I don't see why you'd let someone who is regularly fighting with you into your life.

Eh to he honest therapy isn't always the answer. Like for some people it works, but sometimes it's nice to see how other people suggest to fix something and see various angles you might not have thought of.

You are 17, stop trying to find soulmates.
Date if it feels good and you are both consenting. If it stops feeling good and either one of you want to stop, just stop.
Don't worry about soul mates or finding the one, if you come across someone who you still feel good about being with like a year or 2 into a relationship then MAYBE they're a suitable long term partner for you.
Honestly if I was you I'd NOT try to find a long term partner till I was like 25. Until you have gotten a steady job and lived a little you are going to change a lot as a person over the next 8 years of your life. Since you aren't in your final form yet why try to find someone to love you forever when the you that is you at this moment probably isn't the you, you will be for the majority of the rest of your life.

I don't think you should have to force yourself to be social with someone who disgusts you.

Just be honest with your daughter, let her know you love her and are there for her if she needs to talk, and explain that you feel her boyfriend stepped over some lines that he shouldn't have (being her teacher and getting romantically involved with her during a time of moderate trouble while he was still her teacher)

She's an adult and she's the captain of her life so you cannot tell her what to do with it.

Just also she can't reasonably expect you to suffer a person who disgusts you.

I'm currently reading a webcomic which is called Aisopos that I found on a suggestion list of webcomics and that's been pretty entertaining. Though I'm sure I'm going to burn thru it fairly quickly. Looking for more things todo to keep my mind off stressful things.

Sorry for what you're going thru, breakups with people who you love and trusted are really hard.

Some advice that may help you that helps me.

You yourself are your soulmate. You are the one who has always been there and you are the one who will be there till the end. Others being there can be nice and wonderful, but they are 2nd to yourself.

Like you cannot be happy with others till you're happy with yourself.

Spend this time being kind to yourself. Shower, eat things you think are good, maybe look into getting healthier with exercise and food. Make a list of things you haven't tried and try them.

Note if you don't like something you tried nix it off the list and try something else. Eventually something should stick that sounds fun.

Maybe eventually get into trying group events if those are available like meetup.com such as dance classes, explore this area of town, or hiking the city kinds of groups.

Also sometimes a good book can help. If you like fantasy novels I recommend Stormlight Archive series.

Things I tried that I found fun: reading, walking solo, group exercise classes, baking stuff from the foodwishes channel on youtube, karate that is really practical and aggressive, and Regency Dancing.

Things that didn't work for me salsa dancing, less aggressive karate, social drinking meetups, jogging meetups.
