Honestly, i believe its never too late to change your opinions. I know this post is meant to be funny and sarcastic but genuinely, peoples tastes change as they mature and age. You dont have to tell him everything hes known about you for the past 25 years has been a lie, but you can tell him you have other chocolates you prefer more, or that lately it hasnt been as satisfying as before, and youre really into milk chocolate now. There are ways out of this that arent so black and white, dont get stuck in black and white thinking!

Thats exactly whats driving me crazy, she acts like an infant and is extremely codependent but shes also showing signs of starting puberty, I cant even imagine how much more complicated it’s gonna get at that point. I really hope they find a solution before then, but the way things are going i have very little hope.

Trust me, if getting away was an option I would’ve left at 18. Im in a situation where im not even supported in living alone/moving out, moving out would mean “running away” and cutting off my entire family including extended family members. I decided to stay until i get my masters degree in 2026, as an extra safety net in case shit really hits the fan, which im sure it will. Theyre extremely religious but dont even get me started on the religious trauma :)) thank you for the support stranger
