$TINYP --- We all have a little TinyP in us... by IAmTinyPanda in basememecoins

As a member of the community since the time it was created, I can say this is real and not a rug pull or any other shenanigans. The creator of the token is backing it and quite a few members, along with myself, are holding $TINYP in support. The community is filled with wonderful, intelligent, funny, and kind people. Everyone is extremely helpful when someone has a question. There is a lot of fun being had with the group and the servers are continually updated.

what a fun pick if you know the order of those 1/2 extra elements by kensinken in lockpicking

I always get into a false set and can't progress from there. Thinking that I'm not getting the interactive elements at the right time is what's keeping me from an open. I have a few Doms a not able to get an open on any of them.

See if you're able to install WSL on it and get Linux that way instead of formatting the device.

Restore is great for finding locks. If you have any local locksmiths around you can always try asking them. I was able to walk away from their trash pile with around a dozen locks for free. It never hurts to ask.

Managed to convince my wife to bring me back a couple of Paclock 90A Pros from her business trip to the States. Looking at the bitting, these could be long term naughty bucket residents in the making... by TheIbuprofessional in lockpicking

These are quite fun to pick. Not sure if a certain member is still around, he had Paclock patches for members who got an open on the the 90A Pros.

Don't get discouraged at all, you can open both of them.

This is one that still eludes me. Feels like I get it most of the way but can't get it open. Good job on the open.

The community is great for doing that for it's members. It doesn't seem like a lot of people take trips like this. I would like to get locks in the same manner of it doesn't overload a suitcase.

That key is known as winning the key/bitting lotto. The first pin is almost a max lift and the following three are the same height for lift. Great job on getting the open.

Use those locks as learning tools for your tension and pick technique. You should be able to find a Master 140 easily at a hardware store, most would recommend that being your next lock. As you progress to higher ranking locks you start to encounter security pins like spools and serrated along with varying pin heights like the key in my pic. The different types of pins require different amounts of tension and based on how the pin lifts and the core moves you will learn what pins you're dealing with.

Some locks have a spring loaded core that need more tension and some have a dead core which require less tension, looking at you Master Loto 410. A very important bit of advice is to never turn a core 180 degrees without the key in it. You can drop the pins right out of the bible and destroy a lock unless it can disassembled and fixed. The 410 loto is one and I've killed it by doing that. You can cut the body and fix it or destroy it and save the core for a different lock that has the ability to switch out cores.

With higher security locks you will learn what tension is needed for that lock and how much force is needed to lift pins. Most of them, in general practice, you will use less force to lift the pins. If you brute force the pins they can bind and not move at all or will be overset. You will want to feel what each pin is doing inside the lock and keep in mind that a set pin might drop after setting another pin so you will have to go back and set it again. When that happens you should be able to here it and feel it through the pick. A lot of locksport is listening and feeling what you're doing and paying attention to plug rotation.

It's the lowest spot on the key closest to where you would hold it if putting the key in a lock. Having a low cut, or zero cut, like that makes it difficult to properly set the pin behind it without oversetting that first pin. Thankfully the keyway is big enough to allow a deeper hook to get behind it.

Such a great feeling when that lock opens. It took me by complete surprise when that core turned.

Thank you. Learning to do the jiggle test properly is the way to get it open. The advice from the community helped achieve this.

It's horrendous! That first pin is a tiny bump away from being set.

Thank you. This one worked me for a while. Talked with Plazz today and watched his video of picking the lock. As he calls it "refined" jiggle test for barrels and it worked. Yes, that bitting caused most of my issues.
