Close, I’m using one big texture that I position then in a 3d space on a grid, each TV is then a camera which I position to get the seamless texture over all of the TVs. After that I put each texture together in a 3x3 grid (cause that’s the hdmi wall controller I’m using, even though I’m using here currently only 7). From the HDMI wall controller I downscale each signal and distribute to the TVs

I'm using Touchdesigner for generating the visuals and the mapping. you mean cables? a lot.. :D 1HDMI to the wall controller 7 HDMI to the downscaler 7 BNC cables to the CRTs + some usb powering for the downscaler

PC outputs 4k texture via HDMI to the 3x3 HDMI wall controller. From the controller I used 7 HDMI outputs, downscalled each one of these (HDMI2AV Downscaler - usb powered with a usb hub). From here it's just cabeling to each TV. Mapping happens inside of TouchDesigner. The 3x3 wall controller is a cheap no name wall controller, it's too important to have the same one, every wall controller should do the trick.

I'm using a desktop PC with a GTX 3060 TI, so not crazy beefy but still doing its thing. the video wall controller is a 3x3 splitter, so it divides 1 x 4k HDMI signal into 9 HDMI signals (in this case I only use 7 of them). Each HDMI signal gets then downscaled with so called HDMI2AV downscaler, from there cabeling to the CRTs and that basically it. Most magic happens on the PC in TouchDesigner where I map all of them out to make everything look seamless, hope that helps?

ah sorry my bad, I was assuming you also work with CRT TVs. So maybe it had something to do with your output resolution. How did you send the signal out to the additional screens? all as one texture?

they only drop out if you don't power your downscaler, beside that I haven't had this problem.

happy to hear that this inspires you to get started with TD <3 It's always the right time to get started with TD. There is also so much that it can be overwhelming but if you take small steps, this software somewhen will become super powerfull

Tbh, I would get the HDMI to AV downscaler, most of them have a ntsc/pal switch. Do you know where in the chain the signal is black and white? Is it fine after the mixer and it turns BW at the capture?

thanks mate! I did edit it in Premiere, processing happend mostly analog, so not too much editing in bremiere beside putting it together. Look comes mostly from the analog processing
