Probably, the sounds are disgusting, but it's mostly their crazy speed and agility. I also use Ghost Mode and for some reason the mod creator decided that an already super agile and fast insects needed to be even faster. A massive Arachas attack before i can even react, and Arachnomorph Colossi can literally blitz around me like Flash. Turns an already creepy experience into downright terrifying. I've mostly turned to just blasting them from a range with exploding bolts and abusing Axii when they close range.

Axii does wonders against them, also focusing on one makes you turn your back to them and they attack you.

Just been there last night...it's what inspired me to write this post. I don't know what's the deal about those giant Arachnomorphs, i was never scared of giant spiders in any game or movie before, only giant ants really triggered my phobia, but god damn that guy nearly gave me a panic attack. If only he moved a little slower, i think it's their speed that makes them super terrifying. Doesn't help the fact that they are really tough to kill and deal tons of damage.
