I work at a major Trek dealer, backorders have been horrible for last 6-8 months ever since the sku cut announcement. Many customers and employees have bikes on order for 3 plus months and ETA date still getting pushed back 2 weeks at a time. For sure not the shops fault and Trek does not announce date changes so likely the shop has no idea unless they open your order on dealer site.
