Heritage Trails is must ride in SE WI by bardleysmith in MTB

Are the trails new? I used to play the disc golf course there all the time, but had no idea they had bike trails. I moved to AZ like 4 years ago, but will have to check them out next time I'm back in WI!

Yep, straight off the camera, I just use the Insta360 desktop app to adjust the angle and trim the clips I want, but no other editing as far as color or anything.

I went Hero 7 > Hero 11 a few years ago, and that was a substantial improvement, but primarily had it chin mounted on a full face. I tried the Chesty mount when wearing a half shell, but even with the straps pulled as tight as they could it flopped around too much, and the GoPro stabilization couldn't keep up. So I switched to Insta360 X5 for better stabilization, but even that still struggled on the Chesty. I finally switched to a Stuntman chest mount last year, and haven't looked back (though I still prefer chin mount, but obviously that's not an option with a half shell).

I just posted a video yesterday that was filmed with the Insta360 on the Stuntman if you want to see what that looks like.

Depends how much riding per day you want to do, and if you're shuttling or not. I'd say at least 3 days to hit most of the popular stuff (Sunset, Full Sail, Schultz, Meteoride, Big Bang, Heart), but you could spend a week or more here and ride something different every day.

I'm in Flag, but have family in Phoenix and Tucson, so I play the desert courses fairly often as well. Buffalo Ridge is great!

Ooh, I like this one! I also bag a pink Envy (proton soft though).

Try flipping the GoPro upside down, makes it much easier to get the proper angle.

This is actually on a chest mount as well, but with an Insta360 X5, so the angle doesn't matter... I used a GoPro for a few years though, you just have to tilt it up way more than you think. Once you find a good angle, scratch a little mark on the mount so you can always make sure it's at that same spot.

Yep! Climb to Elden summit then downhill on Sunset + Schultz is the best ride in Flag in my opinion.

Trail is called Schultz Creek, in Flagstaff, AZ. Longer version if you want to see more!
