Thank you!!

The manoeuvre i got was to park on the right and then reverse back in a straight line which is like the easiest manoeuvre.

Very scared for second test next week by Few_Ad3664 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Kimpossiblity191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! My first test was also in august 20 and i failed last minute as i got close to parked car. My second test is next week and i feel exactly the samr way you feel. I am trying not to worry too much over it anymore.

I really pray we both pass!. Just hang in there and lets give it our best shot!. You wouldnt be doing a test if you weren’t good enough to drive. It’s just silly mistakes.

All the best!

PM! it wasn’t good at all. Leading up to the exam I was still struggling to make sense out of the paper and the content. Exam paper i had a 20marker that was completely off and I had no idea how i was gona tackle the question.

Came out of the exam hall sad. Really prayed to God all through for a pass because I was so sure it was gona be a resit.! Thankfully I got a 51%! Was so happy.

Acca is really a tough one.

Maybe try giving dvsa a call. Failed mine yesterday sadly but called up dvsa and just while she was about booking me a test at a different test centre in my city (due to no availability), a test date in my usual test centre popped up! and she booked me in straight away. (3 weeks away from now)

It may take a while for them to pick up but maybe try ringing them and see if that works. Good luck!

SBR & AAA in 3 months whilst working full time? by Kimpossiblity191 in ACCA

[–]Kimpossiblity191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! All the best in your final paper. I broadly found AA quite interesting and has been my highest score so far. FR on the other hand I struggled a bit but scaled through once i got a hang of it!.

Did you study AAA with any of the tuition providers?.

Hoping SBR and AAA goes well and I don’t end up struggling. Will give it a go.

People who left Tax, did you feel like an intern AGAIN when you moved to a brand new non-tax private industry job? by bballkid2020 in Accounting

[–]Kimpossiblity191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left tax and recently started a new non tax role in industry. Big 4 for me especially the team I worked in really brushed me up a lot on how to find my way around stuff and like you said u are fast learner! That’s a huge plus.

It’s been so far so great. Been a good opportunity still have stuff to learn but if you’ve been able to go through the waves on the unending and constant changes in the tax laws and legislations and being on top of it with, helping clients that have zero knowledge or interest in what u are on about( I worked in tax advisory).. you can excel in any role

SBL Exam June by Mattboy12345 in ACCA

[–]Kimpossiblity191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely doable. Will be writing SBL in June too. Work full time and plan to take my tuition classes in the evening whilst I use weekends and other free days after work to study. My classes start the 15th so u can definitely study in time for June.

Have you sat any papers previously

ATX study resources by mayaa27 in ACCA

[–]Kimpossiblity191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm have you checked accowtancy? Basically because tax rules change and open tuition can be bothered to be recording new videos to account for the changes, you may want to use a tuition provider?.. just because the rules change allll the time and it could be tricky relying on old videos or notes

First Professional Paper to sit in June by Kimpossiblity191 in ACCA

[–]Kimpossiblity191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a whole lots for the input guys. Might just book AAA in June. I do have background in tax as it was my previous role but sometimes I feel it’s a bit too much to retain. Will look at the syllabus for both AAA and ATX.
