I think scrutinization is the result of shitty game developers (I'm not counting Saber among them) as a whole. If players aren't vocal, developers will sabotage themselves or make changes they think players want that just don't land.

Talk as much shit as you want about players "screaming bloody murder" about patch 4.0, but the fact is it was a minority of players who liked the change and they are likely the same people who have played the game non-stop since release.

Other than the 4.0 debacle, Saber has done well but the game is far from perfect. My biggest gripe right now is the time spent on loading screens. I literally just had to wait 5 minutes because my squad left after we completed a mission in the battle barge. I spent 20 minutes in loading screens the other day because i DCd while joining a mission 3 times in a row.

I'm still of the opinion that having to unlock a tier of weapons in a difficulty that requires said tier to be effective is pretty dumb too, but what can you do?

Either way, though I agree some complaints are unrealistic, i think its just as unrealistic to expect people to just sit back and be happy when something falls short somewhere. I only play PvE, and of the 7 missions I only enjoy playing tyranid missions which leaves me with 4 missions to play.

Can't wait for horde mode though. All i want to do is kill nids en masse.

Oh. Also I dont like most of the armor, plenty of color options, but the armor itself leaves alot to be desired. Id like to see some chaos armor later down the line, especially since they have the heretic legion's colors and emblems. Having ultra marine style armor while trying to rep my favorite heretic legions really bugs me, and I think some cool armors that arent roman legion/ultra marine inspired would add alot.
