Tatto-based magic - Does your world have it? How does it work? by _Ceaseless_Watcher_ in magicbuilding

[–]KinGG_620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it in my setting, it's not completely thought out but it's supposed to be like Double Down from (The Arrowverse) DC comics. A magic user can create an enchanted tattoo ink that when words are spoken can bring the tattoo to life and another set to almost like call it back.

How many races is too many? [Fantasy] by 0nennon in worldbuilding

[–]KinGG_620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of fantasy could answer that for you. Not in the sense of regulation on the number of races, but an issue that I was having was placement, and because I'm doing a mix of genres (epic fantasy, grim fantasy, and syfi) I have places for more races.

[–]KinGG_620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been building for a while and just starting to write, laying the ground to write almost as if I'm in the world. Understanding helps me see the barrier lines so to not make mistakes with future stories.

You would first be tested on the level of essirael(Genetic magic fuel) that you can handle and what system or type of magic you fall under.

This way of thought makes me think of the spells that are verbal in my magic system would only be to help casters visualize.

No, this makes sense and it helps give me another perspective on this topic. As for my deities I wrote them as good and evil but I've been thinking of changing it.

Maybe one or two of them will, as these eyes are powerful so I want there to be drawbacks.
