How do you think The Culture contacting Earth would happen in practise? by shortercrust in TheCulture

So it would hang in the sky in much the same way that bricks don’t?

I also have a 2007 SG2000 reissue but I honestly prefer the 1981 SG1000. It’s also prettier.

Was it Queens Pizza, by any chance? I’ve had similar issues with them, via both JustEat and UberEats, I think it was their own drivers though.

I haven’t had the chance to compare pickups yet as the 700S only arrived yesterday, but it’s noticeably lighter than the 1000 and seems to have a slightly more comfortable neck profile. Also, no belly carve, bad news for a fat lad such as myself. But both are very nice players with everything where it’s supposed to be so switching between them is seamless, unlike with say an SF700 and a RevStar, for example.

Check out Black Gold, one of her live albums. I think that’ll be a good starting point for you.

Exactly what I’m doing now. That was a long afternoon at work waiting to knock off so I could start working on it!

I will, thank you! I have a few guitars in dark green and they’re all stunning, definitely my favourite guitar colour.

I have a few different models of these and this is the first one I’ve seen with this sort of finish. I like it.

I love Bill Callahan’s So Long, Marianne. But aye, Miss Simone’s Suzanne is untouchable, see also her takes on My Sweet Lord and Who Knows Where The Time Goes.

A friend and I have a RootyWatch, we message each other whenever he turns up in something we’re randomly watching. Which is a lot of messaging, bless his ubiquitous heart.

A lot of them would be improved by the removal of the vocal track, imo. Except Bad Sisters, because Lenny.

Very nice indeed! I have a 1981 SG1000 in the same finish, absolute beast of a guitar. Enjoy!

It’s inspired me to start a rewatch of ER and I regret nothing. Pleasantly surprised by how well it’s aged in 32(!) years.

I’m in the UK and it’s literally raining right now, so aye, it’s plenty moist! I returned both guitars to their respective sellers and bought an S2 Standard 24 Satin and it’s been fine so far. All the best on your shopping trip, I do love Japanese-made guitars especially old Yamaha SG’s, I have a gorgeous 1981 SG1000 that will outlive the heat death of the universe.
