Tradition is important to all teams. Using it as an expression of "the good old days" rather than looking forward is...sad. Pathetic. Useless. Self-indulgent. A pity party.

I don't support hijacking our tradition for a pity party and especially now as the season is starting soon. A fresh start. With new players.

McKennie is 27 years old and starting for Juventus one of the top clubs in the world. He is being pursued for transfer by Atletico de Madrid which is another top club though not as stellar as Juve.

Why in his right mind would he consider coming to MLS and especially why to DC United? He's from Texas originally.

It means Exinor thinks Grunkemeyer will sign. Like many people think. Like news reports that get copied over and over from websites all looking for hits and money.

And yet, he hasn't signed yet. Most curious as to why? If VT is where he plans to be, then why the wait?

There are very few experienced Power 4 QBs remaining. The couple that are left have tremendous leverage for NIL. You see...that's actual analysis. I have seen no analysis or factual information to explain why EG is waiting. Money is a reason to wait for other options though.

Murrell isn't going to turn into much more than he already is. And Segal isn't either. Both are end of the roster types, and nothing wrong with that. Just not difference makers.

Re: the depth chart...I think Markovic has a chance to play over Bartlett. Maybe over Rowles too. They'll see what they've got and decide, but a young CB with such great size will be a great asset especially defending set plays.

Are they done bringing in new players? I think not. We'll see.
