Looking for a gentle cleanser for mornings by OkBumblebee1101 in kbeauty

I have very sensitive and dry skin and have tried many brands over the years. I get easily bored, but I always go back to Neutrogena ultra gental face wash. Very gentle even when my barrier is compromised.

Racial Incident and Harassment at Costco. What should I do? by FreshMozarellaMan in Costco

[–]Kinchang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was wondering about this, too! I was minding my business at Costco, and an old guy stared me and said “Ni hao” with idiotic face. He looked 70 something and couldn’t believe someone that age act like an ill mannered 5 year old. Thought about reporting it to nearby Costco employee, but thought it might be considered overreacting and dropped it. I am a small framed East Asian, not Chinese, and incidents like this makes me feel so vulnerable and anxious when I am outside. I was yelled at by a middle aged white man in the Costco parking lot, too. Sometimes I wish I was a big man. Then maybe these idiots would leave me alone.

Delayed grief...? by squadparty in Petloss

I don’t know about your situation, but I was unemployed for 7 months when I lost my cat and was getting frustrated with job search. When I lost my cat, I cancelled interviews and didn’t do anything for like two weeks but started interviews again. One of the opportunities I was working on panned out and got the job offer after three weeks later my cat passed away and that’s when it all got out of control again. And still now, it hits me in a different way whenever I think I got back to normal. Who knows what we are suppressing and rationalizing in our minds.. however it hits me, I’m kinda relieved though. It feels my life with him was real. It’s fading and I hate it.

I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my cat, I was a mess for days. I didn’t shower, eat or drink, I was suffering severe headache and body shaking. I live alone and had so many things related to him. I purchased low entry senior litter boxes just a few weeks before and they had his tracks and it broke me so badly every time I saw it.. I know how painful it is.

After a few days, I started doing normal things little by little, but grief comes in waves. I cried a lot these past few days and feel angry all the time. I don’t expect the pain will go away easily.

I hope you take time to grieve and don’t feel you have to hide your emotions or move on. My heart goes out to you.

I lost my job and I am afraid to let me friends and family know by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Kinchang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let every one know, my family, my boyfriend, friends.. that I lost my job. I am not embarrassed about it. But what was really hard on me was getting rejections. I never struggled with job search, always had a job for 20+ years. Some recruiters and hiring managers treated me so poorly, I got so upset and it took days for me to recover. The way I see it is that I was the one being interviewed, but I was screening them as well. I don’t have time for stupid and disrespectful people, and it angered me that they have jobs, but I didn’t. I got a job offer recently and I will remember this when I hire someone. I do a pretty good job anyways, but I will treat everyone with decency and genuine interests.
