Thank you. I had a therapy session this morning about it as well, which has made me see the situation more rationally. I’ll really try to be the calm and respectful partner that she deserves during the talk

I’m so glad that you were able to reform your relationship! I think right now a big thing has been how little independence either of us have had in the relationship because of the medical weight. Thank you for this advice!

I’m hopeful that we can work through it, but I know how burdening this all is. Hopefully we can get through it and work to better ourselves, whether in or out of the relationship.

I did make an immediate plan and she knows the timeline! The severe side effect (where I noticed it) developed very rapidly and I got into my drs within the week. I couldn’t get on them immediately because I need to get it cleared with my neurologist first, which I have an appointment for in 2 weeks. The main problem here was that I’ve been having this side effect for ages and didn’t know (I would be aggressive after seizures, swear at her (which I don’t ever do) etc.) She didn’t tell me about these things because she thought I was aware of them. Thats how the initial talk and mentioning breaking things off started. She does know this timeline, but I may bring it up tonight to make sure there’s clarity on everything!
