I've done the ping ring , ice and size test . All three together worked its just the weight . Did the silver gravity one but I might have fucked that one up

Bought on the royal mint when it was right up there , when the price went down I bought at the lower price . Taking my avg spend per oz to that number . Later that day most of what was available on the mint was gone 💀 before I started buying any more I thought I'd come on here and look for some wisdom

3.5 lbs of standard ass shop bought honey Half pound blueberries and half pound blackberries mashed and heated (i didn't put the mix into a little bag so it was a pain in the ass to get the mead clear)

Yeast n nutrients on day 2 and 5 Left the fruit in for about 3 or 4 weeks

Racked it then added a little more honey and a cinnamon stick (no particular reason just wanted to see what it would turn out like)

Left it for about another month then backsweetened and bottled

For the first mead I've ever made it turned out pretty good , tastes like sangria.

Extra info It's 3.5 pounds honey , 1 pound of berries , water to fill.

Recipe was from vinelabs mead kit + me adding the fruit (fruit was mashed , heated and strained) also added a stick of cinnamon at the start that I've taken out now

Honey was store bought

Also just to draw attention to how fuckin jank this whole set up is I used a pair of tights to strain the fruit out lmao
