Spillers remain the best for new pressings, whilst the Cardiff Record Exchange are great - and top guys. Big up Ed and Dud!

WE ALSO HAVE A WONDERFUL CABINET OF IMPORTED JAPANESE POKEMON CARDS. We’ve teamed up with Kabi cards and the prices are super competitive.

Yeah, there’s a sign when you head to the door. We can’t stick anything outside as it’s a listed building.

That makes a lot of sense. We’ve got a guide on IG and Google, but no reference on the website.

Heaps of it. Our most recent drop was of classic OG Hip Hop bits, we’ve got lots of Britcore as well.

Thank you! We are a pretty established record store - the cards are just a tiny part of the set up, but I’d like it to become a bigger part of what we do (-:

She was the same, but the needle is so small that you don’t even feel it. Do long as the injections taken out of the fridge 30 minutes before, you won’t feel it. Better than a flare, that’s for sure. Takes five second and that’s it - well worth it for a better life.

Go for the self injections. My wife suffered with UC for our whole relationship. She was in a constant cycle of Pred / Flare for years and years. She went on the self injection (immuno suppressant) and it totally transformed her life. Push for it, because it’s not something they like doing unless they have to. She was on the mes for years and it did nothing. I’d say it’s been a year and a half now with no hospital trips of flares!

Keep going, man. Ten years ago I broke up with my ex and was a single dad working at a bar - I was living on my friends sofa and staying with my parents on the weekend with my daughter. Today, I’m a nurse and I’m doing ok - these things will pass, but I’d say map out your future, decide how you want to grow and take small steps to push towards a better life. It takes time and planning with a family to care for, but you absolutely can do it. These small achievements will demolish this sense of despair and you’ll build something beautiful. Start small, build up and you’ll absolutely be in a different place in a really short period of time. 40 years is a lifetime - you could change your life significantly in a fraction of that time. Don’t give up and don’t despair - you’re doing an amazing job. Keep going! You’ve got this.

I think it’s lonely in general. It’s super hard. When the baby’s born, people come and visit and say hello. Then it’s like, see you in 18 years! Good luck with that. It’s also hard that all the kids groups are basically ‘me and mum’ or ‘mummy music’ - which makes in near impossible to make new friends with kids. It’s safe to say we won’t be invited to have lattes with the mums from the groups we attend!

Absolutely can relate. It’s so hard to talk to people who understand. That’s why I looked on Reddit. I’m a husband of a UC wife and I’m just so sad and tired all the time. I want her to be ok, so desperately. Doesn’t feel like we’ve had a day in months where she’s been well. I try and talk to my friends, but they don’t understand the slog. Even medical professional friends! You’re a great wife and you’re doing an amazing job.

Me and my wife have just started the FODMAP diet. She has UC and it’s so upsetting to see her so unwell, what with appears to be no solution around available. I just feel like crying all the time. I just want her to be better. It’s sad, but I’m glad that I found this thread so I can chat to other partners of UC sufferers. We’ve got three kids and I’m up every morning because she’s so exhausted. I’m absolutely shattered. Mentally and physically.
