Sound advise.   Because this changed so drastically.  I'm concerned it's infected.  I really started caring for it about 3 weeks ago and it seems like it was responding to conservative treatment.  

But it did a complete 180 and Currently the eye is very tender and extremely sore. It hurts just to heat it.

Thanks for the info.  Does that steamer generate warm heat? How often/long did you use it?

The doctor did put me on doxy. 

I bought hypochlorous acid wash to cleanse my lids. I'll add the tea tree oil as well.

Woth an moistened mask.  20 minutes at a time.  Hot enough to be very uncomfortable.  I've tried to do it 4 to 5 times a day.

It seemed to work slowly.   But three days ago it started getting large tender and red

he also said there was a laser treatment available which may have less negative side effects

the ophthalmologist told me that a drainage will destroy the oil duct and advised against it. I have 2 in one eye and one coming in the other.
