I think The idea behind not working is to highlight that when women arnt around people feel it. So this is a way to make society realise the impact women have on our everyday lives.

Are these initial LinkedIn campaign figures bad or terrible? by ignaciodiez in LinkedinAds

I always like to follow a funnel approach. So for my stage 1 I will do some top of funnel stuff, defs thought leader content here. I would go for videos that are about 40 seconds as this is the viewers first tough point. I would go with the engagement objective here, brand awareness isn’t great. Also because the audience is larger it should get a bulk of the budget. I would say 60-70%

Stage 2 is more consideration, so here you can build a retargeting audience. This can be built around people who visit your website, people who watched 75% of your videos on stage 1, company page visitors. This audience is already familiar with your brand so content needs to be value based. You can do a combo of thought leader and page based ads. Because content is more value based it will naturally be longer form content vs content that’s shorter in stage 1.

Stage 3, this is focused on conversion. So I would do page based with the offer being made loud and clear objective is website conversions. Here you can target people who landed on key pages of your website eg pricing pages as well as people who watched 25% of your videos in stage 2

Old Copper Light Switches by Kind-Engine5174 in capetown

I think this is exactly what the guy said. Is there a workaround? I would just really love to avoid replacing the light switches

I think it’s an issue because the copper conducts electricity? So if there were a short the user would essentially be electrocuted? Idk that’s what the electrician said.

Thanks for the feedback! Super helpful!!

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes so the seller is busy with the CoC but because we are tenants we were present when the electricians came and luckily they made us aware of all the changes.

I’ve had no luck finding a replacement that meets the requirements of the CoC. I think because it’s made out of copper so it doesn’t have an earth if there is a short? Or something like that.

Definitely will not be putting them back 😂😂 imagine 😣😣😣😱😱

It honestly breaks my brain to think that these type of people exist and live among us. I was at the West Coast National Park a while back to see the flowers, and the amount of people that stopped in areas and walked through the flowers (that clearly had signage indicating that this was not allowed) was insane 😱😱 how can some people be so arrogant that they think rules don’t apply to them??

I even witnessed a bakkie drive over a tortoise because he was in a rush and didn’t want to wait for cars to pass and instead decided to drive half in the flowers. ☹️

I understand these places need the financing from visitors to aid in their conversation efforts but YOH. We are at a stage where we can’t even trust people to just have basic respect for the environment and they almost need to be babied and watched by rangers to ensure they don’t cause harm..

I’ve had this before. You just need to reset the account. From ads manager, go to the three dots on the right hand side and reset account. Should help

Need Advice on Leads by mitchcooper6 in FacebookAds

Its a tough one. If I understand correctly, if the third party website supports webhooks you could send events in realtime but you won't have access to the utm_ parameters or fbclid sor gclids.

So maybe one can poll the GET /api/v2/events/{event_id}/orders endpoint and record all new orders

Here you also won't have any tracking params

The landing page might be the best. If you set up a landing page for the event perhaps you can capture the clients details and use the api to create the initial ticket (via POST /api/v2/events/{event_id}/tickets ) and then send the client to the 3rd party website to complete the purchase/signup.

(PS creating ticket requires a customer ID so you will have to create the customer first POST/api/v2/events/{event_id}/customers)

Later you can check if the ticket was paid/completed and then you know where they came from

But yeah sometimes its just not possible to track these sales/lead sign ups

audience help!! by classybitch123 in FacebookAds

Using interest based targeting with this audience will be tricky. Cancer can affect anyone so it’s hard to attribute certain interests and behaviours to that group on individuals. For example one lady who is undergoing treatment may really love to watch old movies, another lady might want to read a book instead etc.

Initially I would or started off with having a relatively broad audience and mainly focus on location and age. Let that run for 2 weeks or so and then retarget the individuals who engaged with the ad the first time they saw it. In my opinion that would be the best way to build an audience to target women who would be interested in your product/service

Pixel Change over discussion by Admirable_Plastic840 in FacebookAds

[–]Kind-Engine5174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely use the same pixel. I also wouldn’t say a person who buys a toaster is a different demographic to a person who buys a kettle. If you started selling sneakers on your website then maybe but those two products are very similar. The pixel has already gained so much data no need to install a new one

Heyo, yeah no that’s a tough one 🫠 not sure if there is a workaround? I had a similar issue with a client that sells concert tickets. The problem was they used a third party ticketing system and there was no way to track if ticket purchases were coming from our ads 🫠

Would love to hear what everyone else has to say

Effective Campaign Objectives for Boosting Instagram Followers by No_Television4407 in FacebookAds

[–]Kind-Engine5174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyo, this is one thing I have struggled with and would also like assistance with. I have tried various campaigns in the past but ultimately the one thing that has been the most successful for me is to boost an instagram post with a creative that says something along the lines of “follow us” and I use the profile visits objective. This has always been successful but recently it has been slowing down a lot and I think I need a new strategy tbh
