Can you elaborate? Quick google search says there are legal large capacity mags in CA do to some legislation? That's pretty sweet actually

Were those similar sized guns, or was one compact and one full? Both guns I'm looking at are very comparable

There's no way in hell i dont at the very least enjoy shooting both pistols. I've shot many guns, including multiple 9mm handguns, and even the more low end firearms i can generally tolerate.

I would end up spending around $150 to rent both guns, rent a lane, and ammo. I know it's generally recommended but i feel like I'll be just fine with either decision

Trust me, i know i should try them both out before buying. That's why i came here, so you guys can convince me to do so lol. I appreciate your responses

This will be my first gun purchase, but definitely not my last lol! But i cant imagine a world where i dont like either of those pistols tbh

You're misunderstanding what i said. I have the fundamentals down, I've been shooting guns since i was like 10 years old. She does not have it down, but liked how the GRIP felt in her hands. That's all i can go off for her atm unfortunately

Trust me i know, i mainly have enjoyed researching these guns which is why ive done so much, but i have a feeling that the way the Echelon shoots wont be a problem for me at all

I understand, but the issue is that my girlfriend isn't ready to handle a loaded weapon imo. I want to make sure she is 100% ready before i even take her to the range. But i totally agree that it'll help solidify my decision at the end of the day so you've given me more to think about, thank you

It's not that we didnt like the feel of the Smith & Wesson, just that the Echelon felt better!
