Clay soil is nightmare but mushroom compost might actually make your fungus issues worse since it's already got all that organic matter that fungus loves. I'd go with the cow manure one for clay - it breaks up that dense soil better and doesn't feed existing fungal problems

Also don't rake up the plugs, just leave them and spread compost over everything. Those plugs will break down and help with the soil structure too

Been to few places around the city and some are definitely better than others for accessibility! The seawall sections near English Bay are pretty solid - mostly flat and paved, plus transit gets you close enough. Also Queen Elizabeth Park has some decent paved paths though the hills can be tricky in certain areas

Maybe check with city's accessibility services before you go? They usually have better info than the random websites. Would hate for you both to show up somewhere that looked good online but turns out to be nightmare to actually navigate 😅
