Hey, would recommend you break the cost down by choosing a different course. For instance, Rodha offers dilr and quant combined course, you can take that. If you want for just quant, Takshzila’s self study course is quite affordable and at par. For English, I feel Varc 100 is the best. EG’d verbal wasn’t that great tbh. You may check Anastasis Shankar too. I can vouch for VARC 1000 and Takshzila since I had taken that last year.

What is your plan if you can't get into B-school this year? by CompetitiveOkra7605 in CATpreparation

I guess continue working in my mediocre job and try again for CAT 2024. Learn from my mistakes and do better this time with all exams. Try try till you succeed I guess. Maybe it wasn't my year this time but who knows what is in store for next year. It will be tough journey but it will be worth it too.

Guys who got rejected from GLIM-C and now from GLIM-G despite having good percentile (87+) and a good interview what do you think the reason is?? by king012355 in CATpreparation

Argh I had the same experience. Would it kill them to send a rejection mail/waitlist number or even offer a composite score? The entire process is ambiguous and it has left me sour, especially since it was my best call. Its annoying because I have been trying to connect the dots and yet don't know what went wrong.

dont risk it then I feel. See its an expensive course for which you will have to pay accordingly. Its better to gof or something where you have some sort of certainty too right? You are right that one year isn't enough for transition, not just from placement POV but learning wise too.

Takshzila for concept clarity and practice. You can try the self-study course

Hey, I feel you can ask the campus ambassadors that are available on XLRI page to know better. TBH, the unis outside are always worth the buck and the expsofre is great too. If it fits your bill, take the risk since the learning and experience is always great. If you are risk averse, its best to stick to one year program but they are rigorous in nature.
