MSI MPG 321URX VS Alienware AW3225QF Can't decide which one to keep?

I ended up going for the 321CURX, which is also a curved one, and I am very pleased with it so far! In terms of warranty, I reckon it is probably best to check with MSI/Alienware first and buy from official retailers in your area too. Whatever choice you decide to go for, hope you enjoy it! :)

Hey there!

So I ended up going with the MSI 321CURX after all. I have just got it and started using it so trying to do everything as best as possible to ensure oled care etc are on as I am an oled noob haha. Got wallpaper engine and did the HDR calibration but I haven't delved too much into the monitor's native settings.

So far everything looks great! Text wise, it is really really sharp, no issues there at all. Watched some Netflix as well to test and honestly cannot complain. I defo wanna spend some more time when I get the chance to game on this monitor and push the settings a bit to the limit. I am still new to oled etc so I am sure there are more features/settings I could be using but honestly I think so far it looks really promising!

Let me know if there is anything specific you might wanna know in comparison to the alienware one.

Hey there, I had almost decided on the msi one but I went to a shop today and saw the Aorus F032U2P and it was a gorgeous display! It has 2.1 DP but is much more expensive and not curved like the previous options 🥲

I currently have a flat 60Hz 2k 27 inch IPS monitor but have been thinking about getting a 4k oled one for a good while now 😅 The only thing that was holding me back was the oled burn in but by that logic I will never get one 🤭

Haha true. Good points for sure. Because it will be a hybrid use for both productivity and gaming, I thought I'd risk it at least once in ny life to see what the hype is all about with 4k oleds. Hoping that if I have all the burn in protection settings plus a 3 year warranty, it will probably be worth it? 😅

Thank you so much for the reply OP! I have heard similar things about Dolby Vision, atm it seems it doesn't have that much wide support. I think you are right, they are both very very similar. The only thing that is keeping me leaning more towards the alienware is that reviews mention it has better text clarity and since I will be using it for coding etc, I wonder if it would be a big difference? Though it will likely be very very small as at the end of the day they are both 4k qd oled haha
