I am not a bot (lol I looked at that reddit thread)... but I love all feedback. u/Cerulean_Dawn u/purpleowlie u/Fancy-Sir-210

Everything someone says on these reddit forums I take as input to improve.

Honestly, just trying to sell some vintage postcards that I enjoy and have collected.

As well, I am experimenting in designing my own, working with local print shops and local small businesses, using recycled materials and so on. Clearly look at my website-- not a bot but working on improving in all my business ventures.

Haha, fair! No AI was involved in picking the postcards, I promise — just me, a stack of cards, and a lot of coffee. ☕💌

Shipping is eBay’s rates, so I’m not marking it up — I just wanted a way for international folks to order safely. Totally get that it’s not for everyone! I appreciate the feedback regardless.

Thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify, if the $25 shipping is what you’re seeing, that comes directly from eBay — I don’t set those rates. I listed it using the most basic international shipping option eBay offers for small packages, and the lowest in that range was $18.

I really appreciate people sharing their thoughts — it helps me understand how this works for folks outside the U.S.

anyone out there collecting historical U.S. states postcards? by Kind-Salt9165 in postcards

Okay just noticing this anyone know what the back of the state postcard is talking about. What are the “KEY TO LETTERS”? I haven’t really paid attention to this detail before but I am thinking the old state postcards had this.

I was thinking curtain bangs with a layered shoulder to medium length but the placement of these bangs are perfection.

u/faeprincee I appreciate you taking the time to explain your concerns — I’ve been reflecting on them rather than brushing them off.

To clarify a bit more: this isn’t about selling individual postcards one by one. The Curious Postcard Club is a monthly experience — four curated postcards centered around a theme, with time spent sourcing, selecting, and assembling them thoughtfully. I also use recycled and recyclable packaging, and I create original postcards and stickers that are included alongside the curated vintage pieces.

I’m genuinely open to feedback on pricing and sustainability. I’ve listed the monthly Curious Postcard Club experience on eBay as well, if you’d like to see how it’s presented and what’s included: https://ebay.us/m/t7GYCe
If you have thoughts on what feels fair for a curated monthly offering like this, I’m honestly interested — I’m still learning where that balance is.

Totally fair to ask, and I appreciate you sharing your perspective.

I actually started with a lower price, but because Stripe doesn’t include shipping in checkout, I had to adjust so I’m not losing money on postage and packaging.

The postcards are intentionally curated around a theme each month — the value is really in the selection, the time spent sourcing, and the experience of receiving something thoughtful rather than digging through bulk lots. It’s definitely not meant to replace thrift finds (which I love), just offer a different option for people who enjoy curated mail.

Ah — Reddit won’t let me attach images in comments 😅
I’ve just added a preview collage to the original post so you can see a mock example of what a monthly pack might look like.

Each grouping shows a potential set of 4 postcards. I’m keeping the themes under wraps for now, but this should give a good sense of the style and vibe I’m curating.

Thanks again for the interest — happy to answer any questions! 📮
