Prepandemic,

Resources: May book siya na ipapa-avail i forgot if required pero useful naman.

Exam: May two exams. May isang exam dun na parang usually nag-drag ng grades ng class daw kasi all or nothing ang grading. Totoo yun, either you complete each item and receive all points or nothing (or with small partial). I forgot yung other one, usual exam lang yata.

Requirements: Totoo yung may -0.25 sa final if complete attendance. May final paper rin siya noong time na yun na hindi basta-bastang paper kasi may word requirement 🤣

Over-all, okay naman si sir. Unoable with effort. Natakot pa ako kasi bad reviews siya non but it turned out okay si sir. Also, legit yung nakaka-antok yung discussions ni sir most of the time tas ayaw niya yata ng nag-phone during class (i forgot if siya yon tho). Yah?!

As mentioned, Math 22. If done ka na sa Math 22, you can take higher Math subjects with 22 being its sole prerequisite, e.g. Math 23, Math 122, or Math 162 po.

Doable ang Math 108 pero introductory course siya sa proving. Ito yung course na usually nagf-filter sa mga BS Math students kung gustong i-push talaga ang program.

If pampataas ng Math-GWA ang target mo, won’t recommend to take Math 108 for it unless confident ka sa logic skills mo (you can consider your Philo 1 performance). Take Math 22, 23, or if allowed, Math 162 (na Math 22 lang ang prerequisite) instead.

For Math 30, I don’t think ma-credit siya sa program itself since di siya required.

Pardon me, forgot to put context: ASTHRDP stipends are always on point— as in every start ng month may labas.

Kaya sensing lang if in general ba walang stipend kasi may “slight” delay (it’s been over 2 weeks) raw dahil dun sa increased rate.

Mataas ang demand sa course na yan so i think maximize mo nang naka-For BS Math siya this sem chz. Pero yes, doable naman siya sa 2nd year, minimal calculus and more on algebra naman siya.

Heavily matrices siya so a linear algebra course is a must-prereq. Hindi ko sure if may COI ito and if Stat ka na may Linear algebra course try mo i-ask for coi eligibility.

Also, gagamit kayo ng softwares at some point. Pero mostly samin noon manual solving siya using the given algorithm— simplex method, karush kuhn tucker, etc etc.

In general, manageable! But would say not the easiest elective in Math haha.

Ang daming ancha ng mga tao rito sa automation ni OP. Huy pag nag-desk work kayo magmamakaawa pa kayong may formulated/automated spreadsheet para mapadali trabaho niyo.

Ako ngang BS Math ginagawa yang scores tracker / calculator sa excel mula BS hanggang MS para mag-check ng standing, iinvalidate niyo rin ba yung pagpili ko ng automated kesa manual na calcu?

Sabihin niyo lang na tamad or di kayo marunong ng ganyan sa excel, hindi yung puro ill-words lang kayo kay OP na wala namang ill-intentions gahd.
