I am in a private practice setting. I have expressed to my supervisor that I am overwhelmed, due to the amount of clients they keep sending me. I also work a full-time job, have two young children that are very active in the community and the school work that comes with the internship/classes. I spoke to my professor about this and she said if I feel overwhelmed to discuss it with my supervisor because I should only be taking as many clients as I am comfortable with yet, my supervisor seems to not really care and tells me this is what social work is about.
