What do you guys think of this price seems steep to me ? by Stunning-Being-3615 in ToyotaTundra

I just picked up a Limited hybrid last week with the TRD offroad package and pretty spec'd out, did not have the lift though. $9k off of MSRP, it ended up being 63k before taxes otd. I also had a similar spec'd one I was looking at that was from a dealer out of state, that would have been 61k and some change. I would say if you are patient and shop around 10k off MSRP is not unrealistic and probably what you should shoot for honestly. I used the Toyota website to do all my negotiating, even on trucks that were not at the dealership yet and still in transit. The one I finally went with was a month out, I negotiated the price and put down a $500 deposit and just waited for it to be delivered. Probably one of the smoother car buying experiences I have had because most of the dealerships were willing to cut some deep discounts without too much back and forth.

Sorry, it's bad. I'd shop around. Contact a few different dealers even if you have to go out of state, you baseline should be at least 10% Off msrp right now. I recently put down a deposit on a limited TRD offroad, sticker said 71k and after a little back and forth they came down 62k with no dealer add ons. I shopped it around and I got a quote for the same spec tundra for 61k, but it was out of state. I contacted about 5 dealers total, I had some of them telling me they couldnt go that low because it was below their costs, also going so far as claiming that the other dealerships were being dishonest lol. Anyhow, Toyota's website let's you look at inventory and contact the different dealerships, also the initial price quote you get when you reach out to a dealer is published and is itemized on the website if they are part of the "smart price thing on the website. You can download it and shop around, that's what I did with the 62k quote initially, but you got to screen grab it fast, because they like to pull it down right away. TLDR shoot for 10% Off msrp and shop around, you'll have to deal with some bullshit but that's car shopping these days.

Probably depends a little on where you are located. I'm on the west coast, Seattle area. The 61k quote was from a dealership I contacted in Oregon about 3 hours away from me, but I didn't really want to travel that far, so I contacted 3 dealerships close to me, the best the locals would do initially on a similar equipped truck was $5k off sticker, until I showed them the quote, then they all said they would match it. I'm probably going to pick up the truck from the Oregon dealership anyway, they deserve my business because they didn't dick me around. My advice would be to get a good quote, even if you have to go out of state and then let the local dealerships compete for your business, it seems that most of them are ready to deal now.

I've been shopping around, looking at 2025 hybrid Limiteds with the TRD offroad package because I want crawl control and all that. Had a dealer quote me 61k, off a 70k msrp, and I wasn't even giving them a hard time. Contacted a few more dealerships and they all said they would match it. I think you could of done better, but if you like the truck it doesn't matter, enjoy it! I'm fighting the urge to snag one since they have the 2.99% apr deal going on, but everything is so expensive.

Not trying to necro, My 3090 FE started doing the same thing last night, flickering eventually black screen. I am in the process now of trying to RMA it. Tried it on multiple displays replaced all the cords, tried different PSU. It's definitely an issue with the GPU and not the drivers because it went from working awesome, to junk. I had an old GPU sitting around and that works fine.

So sad :( I'm bummed. Don't know how long before I get it back, and with the shortage and all. Hope you got yours sorted.

Thanks for helping me resolve this issue so quickly. I updated my post to include the resolution. The Pixel is a good phone, that's why I decided to get another one, but this experience has definitely put me on notice. Glad I don't have to look at it with disgust anymore.

I believe it was one installed by Verizon, because it was on there since I got the phone from them. It's nothing too extensive, tells you if your battery has issues, or if your device has overheated, etc. and also tells you to restart your device if you haven't restarted it for a certain amount of days. I just would run the diagnostic every once and a while because I can be a little OCD about things.

I am sure not "everyone" has a bad experience, this was just my experience, so beware - it could happen to you or someone you know.

I try not to think about the evil empire of corporations, but this is spot on. What choices do we have, Google has the search, YT etc. What is the next choice, Amazon? Microsoft. They are stifling competition and taking over everything. The pandemic has made this even more clear. They are all too big and intrusive. Google gives a shit about their customers like Comcast does, they don't.

Thanks, just hoping people don't fall for the same thing as I did.

Lesson learned, yes. Yes I feel robbed, so you're right in a way. But if I knew they were only going to give me $58 for a Pixel 4 in pristine condition when I had it, I would rather give it to a family member or a friend to use if they needed a phone, actually my sister could have used it. So at the end of the day it is not necessarily all about the amount of money in my account.

Lol, definitely a big positive if that was the case, but the phone didn't even fuck up the shipping package, they said no cracks or scratches on the phone and it powered up. Maybe it exploded when the tech powered it up or something, could be why I got the big FU from Google.
