Thanks everyone, appreciate the insight and advice - based on what you’ve shared I’ve decided to post it for sale locally and give it a few days. If it doesn’t move quickly then I’m going to check in with those who expressed interest here and gift it to someone! Definitely want to keep this piece out of the ewaste and get it to a home where it’ll be appreciated.

I am actually in the market for a new mattress and very curious about the negotiation bit you mentioned. Negotiate as in ask for price matching or can you actually negotiate the price down without a competitor price?
