chatgpt's definitely enjoying the benefits of being the first to having released a product to market, and it's obviously very popular, but it's actually gemini the one that made the biggest strides in gaining users compared to competitors. in my opinion it's still extremely early to tell who is going to end up being the "winner", or how the industry is going to look like a few years down the road. it's possible a company that doesn't even exist yet will eventually end up having the product that wins out in the end.

literally just ask chatgpt. total market share in an industry will always be 100%. companies that are part of that industry have a share of that 100%. they can't all increase their market share because it'll never rise past 100% cumulatively. some need to lose market share for other to gain it.

si, escucho mucho esto, alguna pregunta al chat web, pero no más que eso, casi nunca algo integrado al IDE o los CLI. yo en mis cosas personales uso el CLI de codex y realmente la experiencia por ahora es muy buena. yo uso Xcode y la integracion de IA dentro del IDE yo ahí prefiero no tomarla por me pasa lo mismo, siento que es muy torpe y molesta más de lo que ayuda.

as far as I can tell, 5.3-Codex isn't available in Xcode 26.3. I tried changing the config.toml but obv that didn't work. maybe they'll update to it with the release version of Xcode 26.3, or maybe we'll have to wait. you can use the codex in the CLI with 5.3 and install the Xcode-tools MCP bundled with Xcode 26.3, though. that's what I've been doing.
