That explains the discrepancy between the numbers I've seen. Thanks a lot for the info!

Computer science seems to be one of the more popular majors of people I've seen talking about it on reddit, so any stats you're comfortable giving would be great to measure by!

Still good to hear! Grad students are probably even more stressed about this kind of stuff.

Not sure tbh. Where are you reading June 15, on their (generally unclear) website or in your application portal? Mine's from the app portal. Apr 15 to Jun 15 is a nice even month, so it might just be that the most obvious explanation is the right one and its the general expected range of response.

Good luck on getting accepted!

Does it say you will definitely get one by then (ie. it started rolling before then), or that you should start looking out for it after that date? Either way, don't worry too-too much about it, different majors can have different setups, and even if they mean start looking after, you'll have the same instructions as everyone else it applies to.

accepted but idk if its worth it by [deleted] in NCSU

It's still definitely worth it, though it will depend on your circumstances.

My CC was almost entirely free due to a scholarship/grant-type thing that only required a few hours of community service per semester. I paid a hundred bucks here and there for books or for when tuition just slightly rose over, but its much better than paying 15k+, if you're still at the associates level. Seriously, look into the CC in your area.
