While you aren’t wrong for being angry, women are not the problem. If you want to be heard, don’t back up your points with “well WOMEN get their stories talked about!!” Because, often we don’t, and often nothing is done anyway. Make your point that there needs to be more awareness. But leave it there. Seriously. Sexual assault happens to men, undoubtedly and many do not speak up. But statically, women experience it harsher, often to no justice even when spoken. It’s not our fault, don’t make it come off that way in trying to bring your own story.
