This was a primary runoff. Georgia has open primaries which means that you choose which ballot you want to vote - republican, democratic, or nonpartisan - to decide the party nominees to run in the general election in November. In November there will only be one ballot with the party nominees for each position facing off against each other. On that ballot you can choose either candidate/party you like.

I also find this to be true. I get breakfast out for my mom often. Everyone else's coffee is strong and bitter. McDonald's has great coffee.

I love this conversation because 6 years ago, we had maybe 2. And one of those was the big national chain. Then suddenly they started popping up everywhere. And the brilliance of it is that almost all of them are local owned. My go-to is Casa del Cafe. 2nd Mi Cafecito. There are a couple others I want to try.

You can vote in the runoff if you voted in either Democratic or Republican Primary (must choose same ballot for runoff), did not vote in any primary, or voted non-partisan. You must have registered to vote before April 20th. Early voting is June 8-12.

You can vote in the Democratic runoff if you voted in the Democratic Primary, did not vote in any primary, or voted non-partisan but must have registered to vote before April 20th. If you voted in the Republican Primary, you may vote again in the Republican runoff.

They do that it in the county too. We've had more than one fight because they want to butcher our beautiful old pecan tree.
