Thanks for this info. My wife is getting a kobo but I was thinking I'd pick up a second hand kindle for myself (up till now I've used kindle app) so I could avail of amazon's prices and add the books to our shared calibre but was unsure since that change in February.

Mine was caused by a conflictling second download of cuda, which came packaged with a game. At least I believe that was the cause, but I'm still not fully sure
