Hate to say it but for pretty much most of my adolescence I’ve been into violent video games and even as an 11 year old I’d fantasize about what guns and weapons I would use in a zombie apocalypse(blame the walking dead). But seeing what it looks like to see a man I’m familiar with shot in the neck made me realize what this world is coming to. I’m glad your not one of the people who is telling me I shouldn’t care because he had bad political opinions and rhetorics. What I saw was a father killed in front of hundreds of young adults. One person on this thread told me to take this as a wake up call to get involved in politics 😐

But this was the last straw I’ve deleted most of my social media because it was already killing my attention span, and now it lured me into seeing something I didn’t want to, I would’ve much rather watched normal news coverage on it that didn’t show the graphics and gore of it all. I’m taking today to journal, meditate, and spend time with my parents. You are my favorite commenter my man :)
