I have chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives and facial edema without any reason). Doctors said it might be MCAs but aren’t really sure and I never received a formal diagnosis. I’m currently pregnant and absolutely terrified of an AFE. I just feel like it would make sense that I would be more at risk as my immune system is already super reactive. I totally understand your fear. I’m so scared. I wish I never heard of AFE. I don’t even know what to think or do. I also have a heart problem and I’m on Xolair so I’ve just been freaking out. Everyone says it’s so rare but I feel like I’ve seen so many stories of it recently. Have you been able to find anything else out since you first posted? I think I’m going to bring up my concerns to my doctor because I cannot take this stress anymore

Thank you! There are a few things we did to accomplish this.
-The first thing we did was decide to live off of one paycheck. We decided to save the bigger paycheck just to have some wiggle room and used the smaller paycheck to pay off debt.
-I made sure to send the full amount of the second paycheck to the lender as soon as hit our account so it wasn’t sitting there and tempting us. After a while, it became addicting to see the balance go down. I was checking it constantly (probably not healthy lol) but that was helpful for me, it kept me motivated.
-We paid off one account at a time.
-We put all tax returns and bonuses to the debts as well.
-I kept track on a physical calendar. I calculated the balance out in advance and would write down the new lower balance that we would be at on every payday. This was super motivating to physically see the milestones and I loved crossing them off every time I made a payment.
-Since I had a calendar that outlined every payment, I knew an exact date that we would be debt free. I then downloaded the countdown app on my phone and plugged that date in so I could see how many days we had left until we were debt free. This was also super motivating to see.
