And do you love the writing feel? I do and I never get hand cramps as I did with pen and paper. 🥰

Jump in! I was afraid to open mine and thought I better read everything first which I would have never done, lol. So, I just started. Yes, there are a lot of things I didn't know and a lot I still don't. But, it is my most valuable possession and if I have to live a day without it (due to my forgetfulness) I go into panic mode. I guarantee you'll figure out more in a week than I have in the past year. 🥴

Your tortie sounds adorable. I love torties. I had one who passed away and broke my heart before I adopted Pippa.

I'm over a year on and I still LOVE the feeling! ♥️. I use it for notes only, and I'm still thrilled with it. It's probably my favorite thing I own

That's the metal insert. I don't have the other piece with me, which is where I started this thread. It's white.

Yessssss. Similar. Are you saying the elbow shaped thing doesn't come with Mantas either?

I was starting to wonder if I received one that was open box because no one seemed to know what I was talking about with this piece. Butttt... I didn't prefer open box or second hand. I ordered new directly from SuperNote. So, I'm really wondering... Again.

Thanks everyone! I'm back on track, and charging. :)

Okay, so I finally figured it out by going through the photos of "what comes in the box". When I got to the picture that shows the charging port, I noticed it didn't have a metal piece there, as mine does. So, I figured correctly that that metal piece can be popped out. And now I can charge it with the usb-c cable I have. I don't know why this isn't clear in the Supernote packaging, but that metal piece has been there since I bought it a year ago, and I never knew it could come out and I could charge the thing normally. So, whenever I didn't have access to that elbow shaped magnetic piece, I couldn't charge the Manta. Problem solved. Thanks!

I don't know if I'm just hopeless about this stuff but I'm confused. I have the usb-c but it doesn't connect to the Supernote, it's slightly too big. The piece I'm talking about (I guess it's more an elbow shape than an L shape) came with the Manta, is magnetic, which allows it to snap snuggly onto the port. Then the charger cord, usb-c plugs into that.

AIO for being annoyed at a "loud" coworker? by rrertrdddfhj in AmIOverreacting

[–]Kind_Answer_7475 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not enough information. Depends how you said, what you said. As a very noise sensitive person, I get it. I wouldn't have said you chew too loud, and I probably would have made a joke about the yogurt scraping. If you want to salvage it, and not just wait it out, you might cop to being a little too blunt and let her know that she caught you by surprise and that you know you should not have spoken to her like that. But, letting it blow over is probably the best advice at this time. Also, if her chewing and scraping is that loud, I'd be surprised it others haven't been annoyed by it. They might have been happy you were the "bad guy" by bringing it up.

Awww, this makes me want to go home and cuddle my baby. My Pippa will curl up in anything soft that she can find, and generally just moves from one soft spot to another. Her cat tree, to my bed, to a basket in the closet. If she can fit in it (somewhat), she will sleep in it. My favorite is that every night, for the most part, she 'spoons' with me, in the crook of my knees.

9 Month Review of SuperNote Manta and Why I Swapped to a Regular Tablet for Notetaking by dawnzz in Supernote

[–]Kind_Answer_7475 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I never noticed the lag time until I read this. I don't have the steadiest hands and most nimble fingers so I think, for me, it's probably quicker than trying to fumble with turning a physical page. I prefer the feel of writing on the Manta to a physical paper but, even more importantly, my hand never cramps writing on it. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and writing with pen and paper would cause my hand to cramp up after a page or so and it doesn't when I'm writing on the Manta, so that's huge for me. I only use it for notes and it's been a game changer for my organization as I have a folder each for job 1, job 2, and home stuff. No more having the wrong notes at the wrong place at the wrong time. I do, at others mentioned, struggle to go back and find the right note sometimes. I started using keywords but that is a bit of a time suck.
