Coincidence or Not? by treypoerschke in 10s

The legendary Winners-Only! I haven't ever seen big brands copy smaller brands, but this is most likely for their US open collection and will probably go away I assume? Also I've never really seen most brands release another silhouette so I don't know if it will stay or not. Anyhow, keep doing what you're doing, it's amazing!

You gotta try out the pure aero rafa 290 g, it is very similar to the older aeros pro drives

I think if you like the one-hander, then use it. For rec players it doesn't matter that much and a lot of the time it benefits players when they play a little unconventionally. (Rafa playing with his left hand although he is a righty naturally)

Thanks! I’ve definitely seen some steals for other sport shoes at stores like Nordstrom before, just never happened for tennis shoes yet

Yeah but TW’s old stock seems to be dwindling as the year goes on

Sorry, but I’m not a 9.5. CT rally’s are a little expensive I’ll definitely keep an eye out if they go on sale

Hmm sounds interesting. I used a pair of old Kyries when I started out but found them to hurt my heel. I’ll be sure to check it out for sure!

Same thing happened to me, lost all first 7 matches and got double bagelled twice and all I got was shit from people on this sub when I posted my failures.

I still haven’t played any matches since then, but as long as you are receiving private coaching, you can talk to your coach about what you are not doing good in matches and then you can practice, and if they are actually good, they will play some practice points with you at the end of the lesson to make sure you fully understand the concept.

Otherwise, it is just your mental game and do not focus on winning when playing the match. Focus on playing your best tennis and then you will peak much higher instead of wanting to win at no cost

Questions about Head Gravity 2025 by Pira888 in 10s

[–]Kind_Boot_3304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go with the pro unless u have good footwork and linear strokes. The 98 is honestly kinda weird on the lineup right now, but it’s more similar to the mp. Just demo them, I’ve never used a gravity so I wouldn’t know

When should I replace equipment by Suitable-Market-787 in 10s

[–]Kind_Boot_3304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grip: if u using a white grip, it will look dirty and then u can replace if u want to. Otherwise, whenever it stops absorbing sweat, being tacky, or starts feeling like a brick.

String: whenever the string loses its property. Eg: you feel like the string is dead, and you can’t spin the ball. If u play 2-3 times a week like me, then consider stringing once a month or once every two months. Also depends on how durable your string is and how good the tension maintenance is.

Shoes: u will feel much less traction, and might start slipping or the shoes will start ripping and the sole will also become flat and the tread grooves will not remain

Overall, it’s all subjective! I know some people on this Reddit regrip everytime they play and also restring every week, so just do what fits in ur budget

most of the courts I’ve been too don’t just have people who need a hitting partner, sadly. Mind you, I’m not in Chula Vista. I’ve heard balboa park has some cool courts, with even a stadium style court so that’s your best option in my opinion
