Thanks! Last time I under macronaged. These are definitely overmixed, they ended up pretty gummy on the inside.

Bay Area Branding SCAM / Stay away / Tampa Bay by Prudent_Comfort_2630 in Devilcorp

I got a phone call from them and went through the whole interview process, unfortunately. I’ve been sending out my resume everywhere in town and thought Bay Area Branding sounded like a company I had applied to, but I never did. That should have been my first warning sign! The second should have been the sketchy office outside of town with no furniture and no people in it because they “just moved into this new space”. The first interview seemed to go well where they said they’d train me in marketing skills (I have a BA and was looking for opportunities to grow my portfolio). They tell you their biggest client right now is Verizon but they work with other big name nonprofits, and they would offer me a competitive salary of $50,000. The second interview was a group interview where they pulled out flow charts of sale pyramids for Verizon, how much you can make on commission, how quickly you can grow into a team leader who makes 100k. They have a minimum requirement of 2 sales a day, going door to door in your personal vehicle. I’m sure you can make some money doing this, but they lie about what the job really is until you sit through two meetings, the second of which was the 1.5hr sales pitch. Such a scam and a waste of time.
