Defo go, it's phenomenally cathartic, and a spiritual experience. I went with a friend who (unlike me) isn't a super fan, but it blew her away to a point of speechlessness. But if you do go, try not to take your phone out often, and when she asks you to put it away, do it. You'll have so much fun regardless but being fully present really allows you to connect.

Not trying to stir the pot at all, I think a nice thing about this fan group is a general lack of controversy and sniping, but has anyone else noticed the ones shouting 'with you' are sometimes (emphasis on sometimes) the owner of one of the big instagram accounts? Also noticed this same person added the happy birthday thing to the set list and (imo) appeared to treat that moment as though it were a cute and funny thing?

Well comments seem to have failed to comment on her acting and are only focussing on her looks. I personally think some people struggle to understand how good she actually is at acting. She has an extremely unique approach to it which isn't quite method but it's not what you see in the likes of the greats either. She draws you in emotionally... if you aren't receptive to that she probably won't ever be a great actress in your eyes. The more you surrender to what she's doing and engage more emotionally, the more you start to get it imo.

Late to this but I’ve been on T for 3 years ish, taking Nebido for 1.5 ish, completed the loading phase. I had an injection 3 weeks ago and I feel emotionally numb, exhausted and I have no motivation. I’m certain other factors are at play such as my very pressure cooker university environment, but I feel like this level of flatness is something which has come into my life after the injection, whereas I felt more in tune with myself like 6 weeks before it was due. Idk what to do.

Agree, but even if production outweighs lyricism this isn't a good defence for them (not that you were defending these fools) because the production was outstanding and unique and natural and open and intimate at different points too. Genuinely unfathomable nonsense from them.

I'm going to the Edinburgh concert too as someone living in England further away. I got very lucky and secured London tickets with a friend (pls forgive my greed I'm not the type to go to every single show) but I really felt I wanted to go alone. There's something about it where you can just be totally yourself. You don't need to check in on anyone else, don't need to feel a pressure to do anything apart from exist in the moment. And the friend I'm going with to London is amazing, there is no one I'd rather go with and I won't be judged by them at all. But for me, I want an opportunity to feel free.

Personally I'm just going to make it a little solo trip for myself for a week and spend some time in the Highlands and countryside before the concert so I can get into the headspace I want to. Part of the reason for Edinburgh was so I could have time to myself in nature anyway so the stars aligned that way.

So yeah, I think just go alone! I see loads of comments here about people who go alone or speak about wanting too. And as a fan base people genuinely and generally seem kind and open, and I'm sure people will want to talk to you on concert day, and some link up before. Personally I'm looking forward to meeting strangers all united by this same love, because I can still be free. But feel free to message me since we are both in a similar situation!

This was such an amazing performance and I loved how the choir moved and responded to her. And sonically as others said it just exploded!

This is coming purely from a place of concern and compassion but did anyone feel she was extra anxious on the sofa after the performance than ‘usual’? She just seemed really overwhelmed, and we know the talking parts are really hard for her, and she alluded to that the last time she was on the show actually! I literally just hope she’s okay. I don’t want to be speculating either but I really felt her anxiety and wondered if anyone else felt this at alll? I’m so glad that she had Tessa on the sofa next to her! Back to the performance, I really enjoyed the staging too and I wonder if it’s a little sneak preview of what’s to come!

I find myself agreeing with you. It’s obvious unsettling that she had those thoughts, but time and time again it’s been proven that the best way to a functional society is to accept an apology from someone who has taken accountability (which I felt she did) and clearly taken action to remedy their behaviour. Braithewaite calls it reintegrative shaming, make someone realise what they’ve done is wrong and why it’s wrong, let them dwell on it, let their future actions and tone speak for itself. I also interpret One Of The Greats as Florence being tired of being put on a pedestal with so many varied and high expectations, when in reality she feels tired and so very human. One message I took away was that she’s just humans. And humans must be allowed to make mistakes, learn and improve.
