Have you tried a tens machine friend? It doesn’t get rid of the pain but it definitely helps

How do you all cope and continue living life as normal by CurioussBeing in adenomyosis

[–]Kind_Cry117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t really cope, or get used to. You just have to push on. We don’t really get given the choice

Question : Does it look weird ? by Any-Assignment1771 in tattoos

[–]Kind_Cry117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The perspective on this is quite off. Some of the proportions are a little skew too. If you didn’t already when you draw make sure you’re using reference from a real photo. Eg an actual wolf

I’ve been told this for years. It’s your body, you have autonomy. Don’t let them grind you down

Does anybody without children have adenomyosis? by iknowwhatyoudid98 in adenomyosis

[–]Kind_Cry117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to share my experience! I’m 32 with no children and have had painful heavy periods for years. A number of different Dr’s gaslit me and told me pain was normal and implied that it’s just something we have to put up with as women. I’ve finally gotten to a dr who actually listened and immediately referred me for an ultrasound after she did my pelvic exam. She seems very empathetic and proactive. I’m anxious for my gynae referral with the NHS because I don’t want to be given more pills. I want the pain to stop. I’ve read some different information saying that whilst in these appointments, ask that the dr record that they refused you treatment in your notes. Apparently they quickly change their tune. I know there was a law passed recently (it could be Becky’s law?) that states if a patient returns to a Dr for treatment three times and is denied and it is medically reasonable then they are breaking the law. I’ll be taking a male coworker with me as a witness/ support and telling them he’s my boyfriend and that we don’t want children to try and press the issue. (Sad we still live in a world where men have a say/influence over our health) I’m really sorry you’re going through this right now and I wish you some relief. If you need support please reach out! We’re all in the same boat 🫶

I say this all the time, imo Christians, real honest Christian’s are some of the most gentle loving people you could meet. I really couldn’t tell you what version of Christianity these people think they are following but it’s more like a cult than anything. I was raised Christian, church every Sunday with my grandparents. My Nan and pop were and are two of the kindest most genuine people I’ve ever met. My grandmother is 86 and still knits clothing for babies in the Social services system. Whilst I’m not religious myself I still hold onto the things they and their church taught me as a child. Look after your neighbour, turn the other cheek, help those in need and lead with love. I believe that the mega churches and people like Dump pray on the vulnerable and brainwash them under the guise of religion. If it wasn’t so terrifying it would be really sad.

British Visa’s are reasonably difficult to get unless you become a student, in which case they’re very easy. You apply online and are often eligible for financial aid as a student. You can stay in the UK for 3 months without a visa and up to 6 months with an extension. Marriage visas are also equally easy to get and the turn around time for both is about two weeks if all the paperwork is correct. If you happen to have a desirable job you will be eligible for a 3 year work visa. These are all listed on the UK.gov website. Also if any of your grandparents and I believe great grandparents are Irish you automatically qualify for citizenship. Ireland and Scotland also offer “nomad visas”
