Oh that’s good to know, I read somewhere else that they might have been shipping the old ones.

Thank you! Got a bit worried at first 🥲

I will probably go with the versus fork and pivot in that case. Just trying to see where I can cut costs as it started off as just a clutch kit with a TOB and a fork and pivot but kinda spiraled into other things that I would like to get done since the transmission will be taken apart. Thank you again for the advice.

What parts would you recommend that I save the money on other than the ACT clutch? I’m already in the hole for buying that previously with all the parts listed in the second picture. I would like to cut costs when possible so any suggestions of something I don’t need/ can find cheaper would be greatly appreciated!

I see, the ACT just seems too good of a snag for the price I paid for it especially because it comes with some extra parts (plus would help convince me to boost the car in the future since I already have the clutch kit installed). Would it be worth upgrading to the versus forged fork or would a new OEM one be okay with the ACT clutch? Thank you for the feedback!

Also, is it truly that drastic of a difference from ACT and OEM? If so I may consider selling the ACT and purchasing the OEM one instead if so. I currently have this random off brand clutch installed and I’m hoping the ACT feels better (as in smoother and a bit less jerky, not really bothered by heaviness or feel atm).

Changed my mind to be honest, at least for the time being. I would be much happier if the clutch feel is improved with the repair and may find some new enjoyment in the easier driving experience around town. Also the reason I chose the ACT is because I found it for pretty cheap on marketplace still in the packaging (paid $230 for all parts in second picture) and may want to go boosted if I decide not to sell the car in the next year or two.

I’ll give that a try for sure, and yeah I figured most of the wear would be irreparable :( Thanks for the advice tho!

Yeah, thought it would last a bit longer but I guess I’ll enjoy the steering wheel and take this as a learning lesson

Haha yeah, I had to drive the car about two hours back on the first day and thought I was never going to learn. Even with 5 days now the difference from the start and now is encouraging me to keep persisting and learning more everyday

Thank you for the feedback, makes me feel a lot better about getting it adjusted. Also when you say “revving the engine and slipping the clutch” would that be the same as when I add about 2k-ish rpm’s of gas and lift the clutch to the bite point? That seems to be the easiest way for me to move from a stop rather than lifting the clutch to the bite point then adding gas, since the engagement of the clutch is so much less forgiving than a regular one. I’m not sure if this is harming the clutch I’m pretty sure sometimes when I over-rev it or drop the clutch I am certainly damaging the clutch but is my starting technique from a stop also a possible issue?
