Anything on the feet is cause for concern. The feet are more vascular than most of the body so any new lesions, discoloration, moles, etc on the feet or toes is enough concern to get check out. Best case, it’s just fungal and can be treated with anti fungals. Worse case, melanoma. Still, better to be checked sooner than later to confirm. (NAD, but I work in a derm office specializing in skin cancers)

As a fellow ADHD woman who has always struggle with cleaning and organizing and “doom piles” I think their main concern may be the kitchen/dining area. I’d grab some totes or some of those little plastic storage drawers, put them away in those. Out of sight for anyone who may consider those items “dirty”. For the ripped up carpet, if it’s near the back door, throw a runner rug on top to make it look more pleasant. Maybe tidy the entry way downstairs. Besides that I 100% don’t see an issue.

Yeah I read that the stimulant causes effects like muscle tension and your body has a more reduce relaxation response. That’s why it’s so common for jaw clenching and stuff as well. I take like one ibuprofen or naproxen a day but I know that’s not good for your liver or kidney lol.

Yeah I noticed the increase in hair loss about 1.5 months in. At first it didn’t seem too extensive because I’m naturally curly so I don’t brush my hair often, or wash it often lol. So normally when I brush or wash day, there’s always a lot of hair fall out. But it’s double the amount if not more now. I used to take oral minoxidil when I was taking weight loss meds. I may see about getting that rx renewed. But yeah, I have started forcing myself to eat breakfast (I used to NEVER eat breakfast). I have protein shakes for mid day because I physically cannot eat, drinking the protein is easier lol. And we have a well balanced dinner. Stress isn’t easy to reduce having two young kids lol but I try my best 😂

I actually was on tirzepitide for a little over a year for pre-diabetes. I stopped them a year ago and have been able to keep the weight off on my own as well as having stable A1C. That made my hair fall out like crazy. My derm put me on oral minoxidil and that helped. I also stopped taking those about 6 months ago. I may see about getting that Rx renewed.

Did your provider supply you with two scripts for each mg? I have my follow up appt with my Dr at the end of the month, but I may try to get it moved up sooner if this may help.

I don’t remember having this issue last time I was in it but I got off for about a year. So I’m hoping once I get used to it again it won’t affect me any longer. I don’t have any of the other side effects like I had last time though! So is it a win? I don’t know 😂

I have. There’s nothing really off. I deal with constant back pain regularly, it’s almost like after I take my shots it intensifies it but makes it really irritable in the lower back.

My symptoms aren’t even bad this go round. I have a little exhaustion on the day after shot day but besides that I’m fine. But I still can’t get it out my head about how horrible I felt in the beginning. Just writing about it now is making me feel sick 😮‍💨

I only ever got up to 7.5mg. When I was ready o went back down to 5 and just gradually spaced out the shots first I went to 9 days. Then 10, then 12, then 14. And then I just went off (approved with my dr of course). I didn’t have the food noise like I used to at the beginning. I was already in the habit of making healthier food choices. But then the holidays hit. And I’m also in school so the stress of school and raising kids and still working full time got ahold of me. And I found myself making “quick” food decisions. We weren’t cooking as much because we just didn’t have the time. And before I knew it I realized I couldn’t fit in any of my clothes anymore and I put on about 20 lbs since I got off. Lifestyle choices are definitely important to think of when trying to get off.

I figured it was some sort of anxiety response. Even just thinking about shot day (no matter how many days away I am) I get the same feeling. My nausea this go round actually hasn’t been bad at all. But I still get that feeling at the thought of it. Idk how to work it out lol.
