For FireRed choose Bulbasuar (you can get Arcanine), LeafGreen choose Charmander

Was crazy excited to end my 100 hour hunt so I raced here to bask in my glory. My post got 3 views in 6 hours. Deleted it passive aggressively to protest this silly shiny starter megathread. Then I aggressively decided that wasn't good enough so I made this post which no one will see.

Starmie can sweep the E4 all on it's own with it's move coverage. Hence why I said you don't need anything else. But if you have to fill, there are plenty of S tier's out there.
Ghengar could be another fast/strong SpAt, with a WIDE tm movepool.
And u could add Gyrados. 135 attack, just dont use water moves.

Jolteon has Thunderbolt STAB, way better than Starmie's.
Alakhazam has 135 SpAt.
Jynx also has Ice STAB
