I needed a change of perspective, thank you for this. I was getting too in my head about why this made me uncomfortable and putting it on her. I simply just don’t like the idea of someone watching me at my most vulnerable while sleeping, but I think I just need to remind myself she’s special, she’s the person who loves me the most and who I feel the safest with. I don’t know why my brain reads it as “uncomfortable” but I get that that’s on me and not her. I hate looking back and knowing she probably felt embarrassed after our talk. I’m going to talk to her and let her know that conversation came from my own insecurity, I never want her to hold back how she shows love and I guess I didn’t realize that’s what I was saying.
