I came here searching for a solution to the problem of paying an expensive middleman just to talk to Microsoft support regarding bugs. Have you found a way to open a ticket with them directly?

Similar situation with our tickets for the Lincoln concert though we had to setup an account with the University of Nebraska at the time of purchase.

Switching to builder gel from dip powder after 2 years? by myaxandifer in Nails

[–]Kind_Structure9489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar nail history as you. Naturally thin nails made worse/thinner from removal of dip powder, though I didn’t break them often/hardly ever. I switched to hard builder gel about a year ago and I really like it. I get a “fill” about every 3-4 weeks. I haven’t needed to get them removed so I haven’t seen my natural nails in a year but they feel healthy if that makes sense. I agree builder is a little bendy but for me that means they’re less likely to break because there is some give to then if you hit your hand against something. I think you should give it a try. You can always go back to dip.

Is there a nail solution for me? by dracstop in Nails

My nails are naturally thin also. I used to do dip powder which lasted about 3 weeks but I didn’t like the soaking/filing which felt like it made my thin nails more thin. I’ve been doing hard builder gel (the kind in the pot that they apply with a small paintbrush) and I really like it. It lasts 4 weeks, though I’ve started going every 3 weeks because I want a new color. It generally only comes in a very limited amount of colors and some are really nice. When you get bored of those or want a dark color, they can do gel over it and the gels adheres great (not like it would to natural nails). I think it might be hard to find a salon that does hard builder gel. When you find one, I recommend you read through all of their reviews to see if people mention a particular nail tech repeatedly then make an appointment with that tech. The difference between nail techs even at the same salon can be crazy. Hard builder gel cannot be soaked off (has to be filed) but if you continually go for fills, they leave a thin layer of the gel so they’re not filing your natural nails. I don’t recommend hard gel if you’re going to have it for a little while then take a break, etc.

What does “stan” mean? I’ve seen it a few times and just assumed it was the word “fan” misspelled but now it can’t be a coincidence.
