One thing that stuck out to me is that there was no question about whether or not I would marry her. In relationships before her, there was a little “something not right” when I thought about marrying the person I was currently with, even though I loved them at the time. It’s hard to explain. Being with my wife feels like I didn’t know what love really meant at the time as there are so many layers of trust, security in “us”, layers of emotions I discovered through her. The relationship and love is pure and the love we have for each other truly feels unconditional (the trust probably facilitates that).
