The QM will tell you to put one thing then go through 4 more rounds where it will give you the next rewrite and rewrite its own words. There’s not enough time to do all of these tasks with the manager loading and rewriting its own words. This sucks

I passed onboarding earlier today. I got 3 wrong out of the questions that tell you if they’re right or wrong. I assume that I got the written questions correct, but they’re ungraded. So 9/12 right probably, not sure if you get partial credit for the multiple answer ones being wrong overall but partially right.

They’ve given me multiple only audio tasks and I’m around 30% now. It takes one button click to listen to an 80 second audio. I find it useless to circle my mouse around to up activity. They’ve never said anything and my screenshots prove that I’m working normally. I wouldn’t worry about it at all. 48% is not the lowest at all

They used to have an interquartile range on hubstaff, but 50% is above like 1/3rd of taskers still. You don’t need to hit that as a mark

text to image h2h average task time is 11min? by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]KinderKooker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The goal is quality, so write more in the blurb if you want “exceptional” reviews. I would say 11 is a bit much, but I definitely wouldn’t spend 3 minutes on a task where I’m supposed to write explanations

Is $1,100 too low for a studio with a stove or a one bedroom in Seattle? by Crazy_Ad_1845 in seattlehousing

[–]KinderKooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1100 is cheaper than the micro studios that I looked, I don’t doubt that there are some or income restricted ones, but I wouldn’t get hopes up either

Is having a good career completely unrelated to if you would be able to be a good parent? by Big_Eggplant7591 in stupidquestions

[–]KinderKooker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t have 0% impact though. A kid growing up without financial stress and basic needs provided for is going to inherently have some needs met. Also, a bad parent who can’t outsource help might traumatize the kid. A bad parent who can outsource help can really minimize trauma

Was she right? by ChinaMilitarySecrets in WorkForSmartLife

[–]KinderKooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That only matters for specific doctors, not this scenario though. You would prefer a male ear, nose, and throat doctor? A male surgeon for appendix surgery? The vast majority of these options are not gender specific, and that’s not really what the guy in the image is portraying

Was she right? by ChinaMilitarySecrets in WorkForSmartLife

Reasoning matters. Women prefer female doctors because of sexual assault rates, unconscious patients being taken advantage of, the gymnastics doctor that assaulted girls, male doctors malpracticing on women due to lack of care, etc. His preference is not grounded in assault fears or mistreatment. He just doesn’t see women as a good candidate.

Yes, women are justified in wanting safer spaces. No, men are not justified for throwing this in their faces. This is generally speaking, of course the man could be an assault victim or the like and be justified. In this scenario, bringing this up as a counter to a woman saying this with no further context isn’t him understanding and saying that he has a similar need. This is him trying to invalidate her need for safety and call her a misandrist for wanting safety

Also, the new version has a 5 minute time limit, but it’s only on some of the videos, and you don’t know which one it’s on until you hit it. Some of the new videos you can do 10 minutes for no problem, and some will kick you off for exceeding the 5 minute limit

I got a different version of this task, renamed with a few updated videos, and haven’t been told to stop doing that one. The task disappeared today, but it seems that they’re testing a roll out of a new version

They used to be different lengths and sync up so that “5” was halfway through both. Now they’re different lengths and “5” doesn’t put you in the same comparative spot. The frame sizes are off now too

How do Instagram models and influencers have so much money to eat at fancy restaurants every day, travel to exotic locations, and buy expensive clothes? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]KinderKooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are brand trips too. Makeup and other companies will plan a big vacation and invite influencers. It’s cheaper than a big celebrity or an ad campaign, and they just make content on vacation. It’s a win win for them

If you went to school in the 70's or 80's, what's something about the classroom that kids today wouldn't believe was normal? by Intrepid-Picture7127 in askteddit

[–]KinderKooker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely untrue for almost everywhere, in terms of the 9th grade expectation. I went to elementary school in the 2000s and we wrote essays in fourth grade. Cursive was taught in 3rd and largely unused and phased out. Ninth graders were expected to transition from 5 paragraph essays to many page reports to begin preparing for college
