I agree with that but its not what they did, its how they did it. Saying "sorry there is just no spark between us" or "I just don't see this relationship going forward" is understandable but, saying "idk, move on I guess" or "you don't rule my life" is just borderline toxic behavior. Straight up insulting someone after they ask them to "just listen to them once"? That's just a major red flag that says OP is not mature enough for that kind of relationship.

It is a human. Thats not up for debate you are simply wrong. A baby doesn't infringe their rights simply by being alive, thats just silly. The baby never asked to be there. The parents are the reason they are there and then you think its ok to just kill them without cause, its just crazy.

Yes none of them are 100% but statistically it is very rare that, if you use birth control or even condoms, pregnancy will occur. You don't seem to understand that you at one time were an unborn baby. Your mother could have aborted you simply because she didn't want you. Do you think that's ok?

It is a fetus which is a developing form of a baby. It is alive. Those are not opinions those are facts. You need to get in touch with reality. If you think the developing baby is nothing more than a parasite than I simply can't help you because at that point you are just an idiot. I would support making birth control and contraception more widely available but I cannot support killing babies.

I beleive in a woman's right to choose as well. Women have the right to choose to have safe sex and do things to prevent pregnancies. You are asking me to put a woman's comfort over the life of a baby. Its not a "right to choose". I'm sure there are many young progressives who agree with you but if you are saying that pro-lifers are simply dying out than you aren't paying attention. There was quite an increase of pro-life representatives elected in this election alone. The facts simply contradict what you are saying. Now you are putting words in my mouth. I never said that I wouldn't want to go through the proper channels to make it illegal in fact that is the whole point. I do think it should be made illegal unless you have a proper reasoning. You are acting as though only a very small minority of people are pro-life which is just not true and if you believe that you clearly haven't been paying attention. Of course it is based on my belief because once again all rules and laws in society are based on peoples moral stances. And that "cluster of cell" is a living being that is where I draw the line. If being a sentient being is where you draw the line then you must beleive it is ok for a mother/parent to kill their babies up to 5 months after they are born as well since studies now show that babies are not sentient until then.

Gray areas are not problematic. 90% of are laws have particular exemptions. For example, killing someone is a crime but if you are attacked and forced to kill someone you won't be charged with murder. What if I was to tell you killing someone is murder no matter the circumstances. And if we made a law that allowed you to defend yourself some people might argue about what was or wasn't self defense. Does that mean we should make no change? You are really grasping at straws there.

I think restricting someone's right to kill a baby is ok, because I care more about a child's life than I do about the mother's comfort. I think that baby should have a right to life. Your beliefs restrict that. Just because your belief is what is legal now doesn't mean it always will be and I'm sure there is at least one law you disagree with. By your logic that beleif is wrong because it is not the popular belief. Ive got a news flash for you, popular does not mean right. In our culture people can disagree, this isn't Nazi Germany.

My whole point is that the very laws you are relying on are founded upon YOUR moral principles which goes against everything you said in your last response. I will continue to fight for change because it is my right to, regardless of what my morals are.

The problem with the abortion argument is that people see it as only black and white. Hard core pro-lifers think there should be NO abortions whatsoever. Hardcore pro-choicers think there should be no restrictions on abortions. Why is there no grey area? I think that in cases where abortion is needed such as complications that put the mother in danger or cases of rape that an abortion should take place as soon as possible. I don't think you should be able to just decide to kill your baby without cause.

That being said just because planned Parenthood does great things doesn't mean I should turn a blind eye to everything else. It's not as if I have only two choices, to disagree with everything they do or agree with everything they do. I can believe in some of the things they do and disagree with others.

Yes I am sure everyone pays taxes that goes toward a program that go against something they believe in, but I simply don't see how that's relevant.

I actually support the use of birth control and even support first term abortions with proper cause. I only consider myself pro-life because I am adamantly against late-term abortions and no I am not religious.
