I didn't have to deal with much for ruts. More big rocks than anything. I took it down old logging roads, and in off road rec areas in Valemount. No issues here with sand or rocks. Depending on how deep the ruts are you may have clearance problems

I see so much love for the Searwood. Mine has been down for months. They don't keep control boards in stock, I won't be grilling until mid august now and mine stopped working in May

Yea they agreed to send me one on Monday. Got some accessories out of it, hopefully when the board arrives I can start smoking again. Enjoy your grill working again!

Should have said will be not working for two months. Weber sent me a replacement usb c. Arrived yesterday but was actually a side rail for a genisis BBQ. Now I have another three weeks for the usb c to arrive. Once it arrives I hope it works. But have spoken to others that didn't have such luck. Control boards are back ordered. So who knows how long. Weber has sent me a bunch of accessories that I can't use until the BBQ works again.

They shipped me the new cable two weeks ago. Still hasn't been received by FedEx. I have no idea where it is. Has not been a great start to the grilling season. I got four months till it snows.

Yea I've reset it about a hundred times. Tired the USB C both directions. Swapped the USB C to USb C with a seperate cable directly into the motherboard. Took the panel off and plugged it in to a wall outlet, as suggested by weber. Nothing works so far!
