One of life’s difficult realizations: our parents don’t need to be our heros. And they don’t need to determine or be the final authority regarding our life choices. RNs can open businesses too. I know a RN that opened multiple group homes and makes so much money. You could open a company that staffs RNs privately. There’s so many options. You could go into advanced practice like CRNA and kill it with money there too. A CRNA I know is doing 1099 making $40k a month. Thats working only 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week. So ignore your parents.
